Job Summary
Prepare customized sandwiches, salads, and deli items while visually inspecting cases for restocking. Assist customers by inquiring about selections, weighing products, entering PLU codes, printing labels, and bagging orders. Make coffee and espresso drinks, operate the cash register, and maintain soda machines. Clean bins, cases, coolers, dining tables, and floors using sanitizer; ensure the salad bar is prepped. Stock shelves, coolers, counters, and freezers with new merchandise using a six-wheeler cart, and wash trays and pots in the dishwasher. Maintain deli cleanliness, sanitation, and accurate temperatures while meeting health, safety, and PPE requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to communicate pleasantly and efficiently with all customers, vendors and fellow employees, under all circumstances
- Must possess or be able to obtain a food workers permit (health card) if required by the State
- Previous experience in a similar role
- A genuine dedication to providing an outstanding customer experience
- Facilitate clear, concise, and positive interactions with others
- Candidates must be 18+ years or older
- Complete a pre-employment background check
- Food Workers Card
