Job Summary
Plan, develop, and organize the Bistro's programs and activities in collaboration with the Bistro Manager and Concierge. Prepare, cook, and deliver the EPIC food and beverage service program while coordinating with other departments to maximize customer satisfaction. Promote hospitality and excellent customer service during daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors to foster a positive environment. Assist in evaluating the functioning of bistro programs and ensure food service laws and dietary guidelines are followed. Requires ServSafe, Allergen, and Starbucks Barista training. Full-time role with rotating weekends and holidays. Located in Downtown Romeo.
Required Qualifications
- ServSafe and Allergen Trained
- Starbucks Barista trained
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide Bistro services
- Must be knowledgeable of food service laws, regulations and guidelines governing dietary functions in nursing care facilities and food service establishments
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to interact effectively with residents, families, physicians, and staff
- All shifts include rotating weekends & some holidays
