Job Summary
Lead the Birth & Beyond program and Enhanced Care Management, overseeing daily operations, staff development, and contract compliance for the North Highlands Family Resource Center. Manage hiring, interviewing, and orientation of providers while ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations including TJC, HRSA, and SAMHSA standards. Provide clinical oversight through chart reviews, case conferencing, and participation in multidisciplinary teams to support trauma-informed, culturally responsive care for families with children ages 0-17. Monitor performance metrics, drive continuous quality improvement, and represent the program in external partnerships with funders and community agencies. Respond to escalated crisis situations and lead outreach initiatives to promote health equity.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in psychology, social work, child development, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience in healthcare or mental health field
- Commitment to a community health philosophy and demonstrate adherence to WSH Patient Centered Health Home (PCHH) team-based model of care
- Proficiency in EHR systems, data analytics, and performance dashboards or ability to become so within 6 months of employment
- Ability to communicate effectively and work with individuals from a wide variety of cultural, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds, and possess sensitivity to their health problems
- Established understanding of FQHC regulations, CCBHC regulations, HRSA standards, SAMHSA standards, HIPAA, OSHA, HEDIS/UDS metrics, The Joint Commissions, FTCA risk management, and California Title 22 requirements and continuous readiness systems or ability to become so within one year of employment
- Commitment to HIPAA, and ability to abide by standards of professional ethics and maintain confidentiality and Just Culture principles
- Current BLS and first aid certificate or willingness to be trained (required within the first (90) ninety days of employment)
- Must be willing to successfully complete the credentialing process
- Adherence to infection control procedures, including but not limited to, standard precautions of temperature monitoring, hand washing, symptom self-monitoring, masking and social distancing
- Support the standards of High Reliability
- Assist and support the center, department, or program in meeting High Reliability standards
- Current BLS and first aid certificate or willingness to be trained (required within the first (90) ninety days of employment)
Desired Qualifications
- Possession of a valid California LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, BCBCA license
