Job Summary
Draft and prosecute patent applications, evaluate patent portfolios, and perform due diligence investigations for clients across diverse industries. Work directly with clients and collaborate with attorneys across the firm's global platform. Submit resumes, cover letters, writing samples, and transcripts through the web portal, with submissions from search firms routed via Amanda Lonergan.
Required Qualifications
- at least two years of relevant experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications
- evaluating patent portfolios
- performing due diligence investigations
- registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
- Ph.D. in Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Chemistry, or a related discipline
- admitted to the patent bar
- associate candidates must be admitted to the Massachusetts Bar or eligible for admission to the Massachusetts Bar
- excellent academic credentials
- outstanding organizational and communication skills (written and oral)
- leadership skills
- comfortable working directly with clients
- work well with others
