Job Summary
Conduct routine and complex analytical testing of biopharmaceutical finished products or raw materials following cGMP guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures. Execute method verifications, validations, and transfers based on signed protocols with limited supervision. Prioritize daily work to maintain efficient workflows, schedule calibrations, and ensure complete documentation in the electronic Laboratory Information System. Report on failure investigations and prepare study protocols and reports independently. Communicate effectively with peers and clients, and notify leadership if work orders cannot meet quality expectations within scheduled time.
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc. Chemistry, Biochemistry or equivalent
- over 1 year with demonstrated ability to complete more complex role/duties
- Demonstrated understanding of protein biochemistry, cell biology, molecular biology, and/or biophysics
- Ability to execute method verifications, validations, transfers based on signed protocols with little supervision
- Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well with others & independently
- Proven time management skills and a strong attention to detail
- Works well under pressure

Desired Qualifications
- Experience with he following techniques: HPLC and ELISA considered a strong asset
