Job Summary
Biostatistician at the Save Sight Institute, University of Sydney (full-time, 3-year fixed-term). You will conduct high-quality analyses of observational data, develop advanced statistical methodologies for ophthalmic and vision-related health research, build collaborations across academic, clinical, industry, and external stakeholders, contribute to competitive grant applications, provide guidance to emerging researchers, supervise postgraduate students, support scholarly outputs, and coordinate multicentre publication activities. The role includes translation of real-world clinical data into peer-reviewed publications and presentations, with duties encompassing publications coordination, and contributing to the program’s research outputs and culture. Required qualifications include a PhD in a quantitative discipline and demonstrated research experience, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset. Required Qualifications
- PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, or related quantitative discipline
