Job Summary
Biostatistician role in paediatric intensive care research within the Child Health Research Centre at UQ, based in South Brisbane. Develop and apply advanced statistical analyses and modelling to support high-impact clinical and health research projects; collaborate with clinicians to design studies, interpret results, and communicate insights; contribute to publications, grant applications, and technical reports; ensure data management, documentation, and governance compliance. Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in statistics or a closely related quantitative discipline with relevant research experience; proficiency in R or STATA; ability to translate complex statistical concepts for clinicians and researchers; experience working in multidisciplinary teams; strong organisational and written communication skills. The position is full-time, fixed-term up to 31 December 2027, with base salary in AUD (HEW Level 6) and benefits, located at South Brisbane, Australia. ”,
Required Qualifications
