Job Summary

Apply appropriate statistical and data science methods to support biomedical research projects, collaborating with faculty, clinicians, and scientists to develop study objectives and analytic strategies. Conduct analyses ranging from standard workflows to computationally intensive approaches, then contribute to abstracts, manuscripts, and scholarly publications. Work independently with investigators while providing statistical analysis to institutional staff designated by grant relationships.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in statistical and data science methods
  • Experience in programming (e.g., R, SAS, Python)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to clearly explain statistical concepts and results to non‐statistical audience
  • Strong organizational and time‐management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • Ability to adapt analytical approaches to different study designs, data types, and research questions
  • Ability to learn and apply domain knowledge as needed for specific studies
  • Interest in contributing to biostatistical education and training efforts (e.g., training sessions, workshops) for the broader research community
  • Ability to coach colleagues and mentor junior staff biostatisticians
  • Bachelor's degree in biostatistics, statistics, epidemiology or related field
  • 2+ years of experience (for Associate Biostatistician)
  • Bachelor's degree in biostatistics, statistics, epidemiology, or related fields
  • 4+ years of experience in biostatistics and/or epidemiological consulting and/or research (for Biostatistician)
  • Master's degree with 2+ years of experience (for Biostatistician)
  • entry-level PhD (for Biostatistician)
