Job Summary
Full-time Biostatistician at Geisinger Biostatistics Core. Collaborate on designing clinical research studies, write biostatistical analysis plans, calculate sample size and power, manage and analyze study data, contribute to publications, and educate team members in statistical methods. Requirements include a Master’s degree in biostatistics or related field with 10+ years of healthcare experience, or a Doctorate with 2+ years of experience; proficiency with SAS or R; strong communication and project management skills. Potential to work remotely; typical work setting includes office or remote environments.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in biostatistics or closely related field
- 10 years of related experience in healthcare environment or Doctorate degree in biostatistics or closely related field with 2 years of experience (preferred)
- Experience with SAS or R
- Ability to manage large datasets
- Experience in clinical research and statistical consultations
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a multidisciplinary environment
- PhD or MS in biostatistics or related field (as applicable)
