Job Summary
Biostatistical Programming Senior Manager leads a group of Oncology and other therapeutic-area products, accountable for Global Statistical Programming study results and submission activities, and drives programming strategies, standards, and compliance. Responsibilities include planning and monitoring project progress, overseeing GSP relationships and budgets, managing staff performance and development, leading process-improvement initiatives, assisting in audits/inspections, developing and implementing policies and SOPs, providing hands-on support as needed, and coaching staff. Desired qualifications emphasize advanced SAS (Graph, STAT, Macro), SQL, R, regulatory submission experience, data quality/compliance checks, software development experience, cross-cultural collaboration, and strong communication. The role offers flexible remote work where possible and belongs to a senior leadership track within Amgen’s statistical programming organization.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate degree or equivalent in a relevant field OR Master’s degree with extensive pharmaceutical statistical programming experience OR Bachelor’s degree with substantial experience OR Associate’s degree with substantial experience OR High school diploma/GED with extensive experience in statistical programming
