BioSpine - RN PreOp/PACU

Prepare patients for surgery by evaluating physical and mental health, gathering medical history, and assessing surgical sites and airway quality. Administer pre-operative medications and IV fluids, conduct venipuncture, and verify informed consent while ensuring safety protocols are implemented. Monitor vital signs, oxygen levels, and overall condition during recovery, administer pain medication, and manage any post-operative complications. Provide clear explanations of procedures to patients and families, assess readiness for discharge, and maintain accurate documentation of nursing care. Work Monday through Friday with no calls or weekend/holiday shifts.
