Job Summary
Inspect belt filter presses, bio solids dryers, and vacuum conveyance systems while troubleshooting mechanical issues and performing corrective actions. Operate forklifts and track loaders for inventory management, maintain instrumentation, and conduct field analysis using moisture balance and SGN scales. Calculate polymer dosage, collect laboratory samples following chain of custody, and assemble data for annual reporting. Perform routine maintenance, lubrication, and cleaning of equipment and buildings. Conduct on-the-job training for new operators and assist with wet side operational duties. Requires a Missouri "C" level Wastewater Treatment License within one year, two years of machine operating experience, and valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Missouri "C" level Wastewater Treatment License
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Must obtain Missouri "C" level Wastewater Treatment License within 1 year of hiring
- Must be able to stand for long periods
- Routinely lifts objects weighing up to thirty pounds
- Occasionally lift objects weighing as much as sixty pounds or assist in lifting objects weighing in excess of 100 pounds
- Some overnight or day travel may be required for business purposes
