Job Summary
Conduct general housekeeping, maintain inventory, and prepare media and equipment for experiments in the bioprocessing and formulation labs. Perform measurements on samples, maintain batch records, and execute equipment maintenance and repairs. Support scientists with process-development tasks from bench to pilot scale, including downstream processing operations like centrifugation and tangential flow filtration. Work independently on routine tasks and research experiments as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Ability to understand and follow simple oral and written directions
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with others
- Able to sit and/or stand for up to 2-4 hours at a time
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Pre-employment background check
Desired Qualifications
- AA degree or higher in a biological science or engineering
- Ability to work flexible hours
