Job Summary
Oversee end-to-end Upstream cGMP manufacturing for antibody and human cell production, supervising Upstream operations from seed train and bioreactor runs to harvest and transfer, while ensuring compliance with GMP, safety, and quality standards. Collaborate with R&D and Process Development to transfer monoclonal antibody processes, develop and implement robust production schedules, and manage batch records, SOPs, and documentation. Lead cross-functional meetings with downstream processing, QC, and supply chain; foster a culture of safety, accountability, and innovation; mentor and develop team members; and ensure timely delivery of projects in alignment with deadlines and quality expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or closely related life sciences discipline
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience with biologic Upstream GMP production processes
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervisor/manager experience
- Excellent documentation skills including comprehension and review & establishing batch production records
