Job Summary
The Biometrics Technician conducts biometric collection and analysis for Department of Defense customers, managing daily operations of biometric data collection systems and ensuring data accuracy. Responsibilities include training on biometric systems, conducting quality assurance, technical research on EBTS standards, and participation in biometrics courses and conferences. Candidates must have experience in the field, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail, alongside the ability to manage and reconcile data discrepancies.
Required Qualifications
- Must obtain and maintain a Top Secret US Government Clearance with SCI eligibility
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Biometrics or Forensics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to utilize standardized scientific literature and develop effective written reports
- Attention to detail
- Ability to meet time-critical tasks
- Ability to work unmonitored
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Biology
- Bachelor of Science in Chemistry
- Bachelor of Science in Forensic Sciences
- 4+ years of relevant experience in Biometrics or Forensics
- Law enforcement experience
Additional Requirements
- US Citizenship is required to obtain/maintain a Top-Secret Clearance
