Job Summary
Complete biometrics registration for applicants seeking legal immigration to the United States by capturing electronic fingerprints, photographs, and signatures. Ensure all entrants are approved applicants and visitors while providing interior and exterior crowd control, enforcing ASC rules, and safeguarding personal identifiable information. Deliver front-line customer service with a cheerful demeanor, manage applicants with sensitivity, and conduct periodic facility checks to report concerns. Screen individuals for valid appointment notices and identification, utilizing barriers to ensure safe entry, and assist in calling law enforcement or first responders when necessary. Manage administrative paperwork including tracking processing times and visitor control logs. Available for substitute coverage Monday through Friday from 7:45am to 4:15pm on an as-needed basis.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization
- US Citizenship
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to speak and write in English
- Ability to stand upright on one's feet for scheduled shift duration, excluding meals and breaks
- Ability to hold and grasp applicant's hands to obtain quality fingerprints
- Ability to work in a high paced environment with the public
- Ability to type and use basic computer skills
- Successful completion of the biometrics training and become certified within sixty days
- Must be able to speak a foreign language
