Job Summary
Product Manager for biometric hardware solutions at IDEMIA Public Security, based in La Défense (Paris). Responsible for managing a portfolio from strategy through market launch, acting as the bridge between market needs and technical teams. Define product vision, positioning, and roadmap; conduct competitive analysis; develop and monitor business plans; define launch strategies and sales enablement materials; lead product development with R&D, Design, and Operations; manage hardware, firmware, software, and SDK requirements; oversee the product integration ecosystem; monitor performance and ensure compliance with biometric and data protection requirements. Collaborate closely with customers, Sales, and internal teams to drive opportunities (RFPs, product positioning) and guide decisions; fluent in English and French with a strong customer focus and ability to operate in a global, matrix organization.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering degree or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Optics, or a related field
- Specialization in Product Management, Product Marketing, or Business is a plus
- At least 5 years of experience in B2B Hardware/Software Product Management, ideally within electronics, optics, or related high-tech industries
- Solid understanding of hardware, firmware, and software architectures
- Proven experience managing products from strategy to market launch and lifecycle improvements
- Strong customer focus and experience collaborating with Sales teams
- Fluent in English and French
- Knowledge of optical or biometric technologies is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to work in an international, matrix organization
- Autonomy, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail
- Business-oriented mindset with a strong customer focus
