Job Summary
Biometric Technician (On-Call) for USCIS ASC operations at Amentum in Helena, MT. This casual on-call role supports biometrics registration for applicants seeking legal immigration, with duties including capturing electronic fingerprints, photographs, and signatures, ensuring entry eligibility, and providing front-line customer service while safeguarding PII. The role requires interacting with the public in a high-paced environment, maintaining security and privacy, managing visitor control and facility checks, and assisting in enforcing ASC rules and policies. Availability Monday through Friday from 7:45am to 4:15pm for substitute coverage; hours are not guaranteed as positions are on an as-needed basis. Training is provided by the employer.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization
- US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to speak and write in English
- Ability to stand upright on one’s feet for scheduled shift duration, excluding meals and breaks
- Ability to hold and grasp applicant’s hands to obtain quality fingerprints
- Ability to work in a high paced environment with the public
- Ability to type and use basic computer skills
- Successful completion of the biometrics training and become certified within sixty days
