Biomedical Technician III

Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify the performance of highly complex biomedical equipment and systems independently. Perform performance assurance inspections, scheduled maintenance, electrical safety inspections, and operation verification procedures on intricate biomedical systems. Repair, install, and calibrate equipment while informing supervisors of repair status, unusual situations, and customer concerns. Work with subcontractors and vendors to ensure proper service delivery and lead special projects as assigned. Ensure database accuracy for inventory, performance assurance schedules, and service history. Build and maintain customer relationships by discussing equipment status with clinicians. Conduct periodic inventory inspections and verify security analysis for new customer equipment. Requires minimum five years of experience in a clinical engineering environment, complex computer skills, and ability to integrate information from various sources. Valid driver's license required with variable travel requirements.
