Job Summary
The Biomedical Technician II (BMET II) performs installation, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and verification of complex biomedical equipment with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include performance assurance inspections, scheduled maintenance, electrical safety inspections, operation verification procedures, and coordination with subcontractors/ vendors. The role supports regulatory compliance (MEMP and related policies), maintains and documents service history and equipment data, and engages with clinicians to discuss equipment status. A technical background in electronics, strong problem-solving and communication skills, a valid driver’s license, and travel as needed to primary sites are required. The position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and adherence to TriMedx core values while contributing to service operations and inventory management.
Required Qualifications
- 2 year degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent experience required
- Technical Certification (CBET) strongly preferred
