Job Summary
BMET I provides clinical equipment services under supervision, performing validation, inspection, planned maintenance, calibration, and repair of general biomedical equipment; assists with troubleshooting and major repairs; maintains equipment database and inventory; supports regulatory compliance with MEMP and related policies; builds customer relationships and communicates equipment status with clinicians; travel may be required to support customer sites; requires strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with subcontractors and vendors.
Required Qualifications
- 2 year degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent experience required
- 3 months experience working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment preferred
- Valid driver’s license required; travel may be required
