Job Summary
Perform scheduled maintenance and repair services for general patient care equipment, balancing assigned preventive maintenance tasks with on-site repair calls. Troubleshoot and fix non-invasive repairs using technical manuals and drawings, while arranging invasive repairs when necessary. Communicate work status, scheduling issues, and incomplete activities to managers, and proactively coordinate with support staff to ensure customer satisfaction. Request cost-effective parts and maintain accurate paperwork for all service activities. Operate test equipment to high standards and learn new maintenance skills quickly through demonstration.
