Job Summary
Evaluate customer biomedical equipment issues, implement repairs, and perform planned maintenance and safety inspections to support healthcare delivery. Adhere to company policies and hospital protocols to ensure regulatory compliance, documenting all work performed. Maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure resolution and follow-up, while properly caring for tools and test equipment to guarantee accurate repairs. Identify and report quality or compliance concerns immediately to the Quality Organization. This role requires onsite availability in the Palm Beach/St Lucie FL areas, including after-hours work and a rotating on-call schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree, Bachelor's degree, military education, participant in the formal GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship, Apprenticeship or Military Externship program; OR High School Diploma/GED with a minimum 2 years of experience servicing electrical, electronics, IT or mechanical equipment
- Experience with electronic digital circuitry and electronic or electro-mechanical devices
- Experience interpreting schematic diagrams
- Ability to be available after-hours and/or work a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to lift/move up to 35lbs. unassisted
- Willingness to work onsite at our customer location(s) in the Palm Beach/St Lucie FL areas
