Job Summary
Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs dialysis equipment, ancillary equipment, and water treatment systems; maintains the physical plant; ensures outside vendor services are completed per contract; purchases and retains an inventory of service parts; performs water/dialysate sample collection and analysis; conducts trend analysis on the water system; documents repairs and maintenance; assists in planning/installing biomedical equipment; participates in monthly technical/regulatory meetings; ensures regulatory and OSHA requirements are met; manages equipment inventory and deliveries; conducts training and ensures device/test documentation meets manufacturer specifications; provides after-hours on-call coverage as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required
- Valid Driver's License issued in the state of residence required
- Continued employment is dependent on successful completion of Fresenius Biomedical Technician training within the first 24 months of service from date of hire
