Biomedical Technician

Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair dialysis equipment, ancillary equipment, and water treatment systems in kidney care clinics; manage inventory of service parts and ensure vendor services are performed per contract; conduct water/dialysate sampling, trend analysis, and documentation; assist in planning and installing biomedical equipment for safe operation; provide after-hours technical on-call coverage; train colleagues on operational maintenance of dialysis machines; ensure regulatory and OSHA requirements are met and collaborate with facility staff; participate in monthly meetings and uphold safety, infection control, and 6S practices.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate Degree in electronics / biomedical technology, or equivalent (preferred but not required)
- Valid Driver's License issued in the state of residence
- Must complete Fresenius Biomedical Technician training within first 24 months of service
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and safely move equipment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ishihara Color Blindness test as a condition of employment
