Job Summary
Biomedical Equipment Technician I conducts cost-effective maintenance on medical equipment at customer sites, performing inspection, maintenance, calibration, and repair. Completes paperwork and data entry for billing and regulatory compliance, and communicates with clinical staff about equipment features and functionality.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, or biomedical equipment technology
- Equivalent military training or Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET)
- Valid driver's license with safe driving record
- Willingness to work flexible hours (evenings, weekends, holidays) and emergency off-hours
- Willingness to travel periodically
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to perform physical tasks (bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, stand, walk)
