Biomedical Field Service Technician

Job Summary
Conduct cost-effective equipment inspection, maintenance, calibration, and repair service on various medical devices at customer sites. Perform operational verification, preventive maintenance, and corrective repair service to ensure equipment functions properly. Complete all paperwork and computer data entry accurately for billing and regulatory compliance while communicating with clinical staff regarding equipment features and functionality. Maintain a valid driver's license and travel periodically to support business needs. Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency off-hours to support a 24/7 schedule.
Required Qualifications
- An associate degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, or biomedical equipment technology
- Equivalent military training
- Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET)
- Basic computer skills
- Understanding of computer networks and equipment interaction
- Current, valid, and unrestricted driver's license
- Safe driving record based on Agiliti policies
- Willingness to travel periodically to support business needs
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as emergency off-hours as needed to support a 24/7 schedule
- The ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 75 pounds
- The ability to often bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Proof of current vaccination status (if required by customer and/or company requirements)
