Job Summary
Install, troubleshoot, and service biomedical equipment at customer sites while managing customer relationships through technical expertise. Perform preventative maintenance and service repairs using service manuals, OEM training, and third-party protocols. Independently diagnose and resolve electronic, network, and mechanical problems, including completing PMs, FCOs, and installations. Assess priorities communicated by site managers or customers to deliver results with a sense of urgency. Work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations while traveling to accounts within the Kingston area.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience servicing medical equipment
- Associates degree in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience
- BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET
- Working knowledge of electronic circuit boards, schematics, processors and computer hardware including applications, programming, and systems functionality
- Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment
- Knowledge and use of all necessary tools and test equipment
- Ability to work flexible hours (based on business needs to include overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations)
- Ability to safely work with radiation sources and/or radioactive materials
- Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment
- Ability to travel when needed to Accounts located within the area
- US work authorization
- Reside within commuting distance to Kingston, NY
