Biomedical Equipment Technician II

Job Summary
Inspect, calibrate, and repair biomedical devices while conducting preventative maintenance, safety tests, and troubleshooting with minimal supervision. Maintain accurate service records, resolve customer service issues, and assist with ordering parts and supplies. Cross-train technicians and collaborate effectively to ensure compliance and operational excellence. Stay current on technology, medical advances, and regulatory standards. This rotational on-call schedule includes nights, weekends, and holidays, requiring availability to respond to urgent service needs outside regular business hours.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering or related field, upon hire or Technical School equivalent military education, graduate of technical program, upon hire or equivalent training validated through training certifications or equivalent experience, upon hire
- A minimum of 2 years' experience servicing technical equipment
- Valid Driver's License
- This position requires participation in a rotational on-call schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Candidates must be available to respond to urgent service needs outside of regular business hours
- Candidates may be required to return to the facility on short notice
