Biomedical Equipment Technician II

Job Summary
Perform performance assurance inspections, scheduled maintenance, electrical safety checks, and operation verifications on complex biomedical equipment. Repair, install, and calibrate intricate devices while serving as a technical advisor to clinical staff regarding safe equipment operation. Assist in developing specifications for new clinical equipment selection and maintain the accuracy of the equipment database, including inventory, service history, and nomenclature. Build and maintain customer relationships by discussing equipment status with clinicians and ensuring all regulatory agency compliances are met. Work with subcontractors and vendors to ensure proper service delivery and complete periodic inventory inspections for trial, rental, and loaner devices.
Required Qualifications
- 2 year degree in a technical/electronics field
- equivalent experience
- TRIMEDX Trained Certification
- equivalent biomedical related certification program
- Minimum 3 years' experience working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment
- Valid driver's license
- ability to administrate a system

- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong written, verbal, and presentational communication skills
