Job Summary
Biomedical Equipment Technician needed to perform corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, and incoming inspection on low- and high-impact medical equipment under supervision. Duties include coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and outside service technicians; maintaining relationships with clinicians and leadership; documenting work orders and asset inventory; and expanding technical expertise through ongoing training.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher in a technical/electronics field, equivalent military training, or equivalent technical work experience, required.
- Licensure and Certifications: Certified associate in biomedical technology (CABT) preferred designation. Valid driver’s license and auto liability insurance, required.
- Experience: Minimum 1 years’ experience working with medical equipment in a Biomed Department or equivalent institution preferred. Previous experience with computers, CMMS functionality, and use of associated test equipment, required.
