Biomedical Equipment Technician

Job Summary
Inspect, calibrate, and repair biomedical devices within assigned areas while performing preventative maintenance and safety tests. Maintain accurate service records, assist with ordering parts and supplies, and provide technical support to clinical staff. Troubleshoot equipment issues and stay current on technology, medical advances, and regulatory standards. This role requires a strong driver's license and participation in a rotational on-call schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. You will partner effectively with colleagues to ensure operational excellence and patient safety.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Other in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical, related IT, or Mechanical Engineering or related field, upon hire or Technical School graduate of technical program, upon hire or equivalent training validated through training certifications, upon hire
- Valid Driver's License
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Commitment to quality and patient safety
- Participation in a rotational on-call schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Availability to respond to urgent service needs outside of regular business hours
- Ability to return to the facility on short notice
