Job Summary
Biomedical Equipment Technician II responsible for repairs and preventative maintenance of client biomedical equipment. Duties include inspection, assessment, testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of medical devices per manufacturers’ recommendations and clinical guidelines, maintaining service records, coordinating maintenance within the department, and handling life-support and patient-care equipment in shop and clinical environments. Requires an Associate of Science degree in Electronics or Biomedical Engineering, or DOD certification or equivalent experience, plus 4+ years of relevant service experience. Strong electromechanical skills, experience with Sigma Pumps preferred, and ability to work independently. Full-time, fully benefited position based in Dallas, TX.
Required Qualifications
- A.S. degree from an accredited school in Electronics / Biomedical Engineering, or DOD certification or equivalent experience
- 4+ years’ experience servicing biomedical medical equipment
- Strong communications and organizational skills
- Must have good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
