Job Summary
Provide on-site consulting and guidance to physicians and Operating Room personnel by evaluating options and problem-solving during surgery to maximize product efficiency. Manage and maintain the install base, including basic third-party integrations, while analyzing and resolving product issues via Salesforce. Direct and assist Radiology staff in performing necessary scans, educate hospital personnel on Image Guided Surgery products, and act as the primary escalation point for regional clinical issues. Contribute to quality improvement by recommending product modifications and collaborate with sales and marketing teams on upgrade initiatives and R&D projects. Maintain Salesforce documentation of working hours and attend annual continuing education to retain product certification competency.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, Biomechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Clinical Engineering, or Nursing
- 1-3 years minimum experience in a technical support role
- 1-2 years minimum sales experience with healthcare company
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of surgical procedures
- Knowledge of anatomy
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- 1-3 years minimum experience in a technical support role preferably for a healthcare company or Provider
- 1-2 years minimum sales experience with healthcare company preferred
- Proficient in the use of PC software applications including Microsoft Office
- Self-motivated
- Detail oriented
- Proven history of ability to make independent decisions
