Job Summary
Conduct on-site clinical evaluations for new and existing customers to demonstrate product usage and increase Image Guided Surgery frequency. Provide consulting and problem-solving support to physicians and operating room personnel to maximize surgery efficiency. Lead installations at customer sites and educate hospital staff on surgery products and services. Utilize engineering expertise to recommend product modifications for quality improvement and resolve product issues through detailed analysis. Act as primary customer liaison to assess satisfaction, maintain site visits, and increase revenue via service contracts and spare parts. Strategize with Account Managers to evaluate customer opportunities and resolve issues. Keep abreast of new developments through ongoing training and research. Promote products at trade shows and attend annual continuing education. Travel 50%+.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, Biomechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Clinical Engineering, Nursing or equivalent experience
- Travel 50%+
- Covid-19 vaccination, including applicable booster(s), is required if the position requires onsite presence at Brainlab customer sites in compliance with Presidential Executive Orders
- Brainlab participates in E-Verify
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years minimum of experience in a technical support role for a healthcare company or provider preferred
- 1-2 years minimum customer service experience preferred
- Knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy and medical terminology preferred
- Proficient in the use of PC software applications including Microsoft Office
- Self-motivated, detail oriented and a proven history of ability to make independent decisions
