Job Summary
Biomedical Engineer (Application Consultant) at Brainlab delivers on-site clinical evaluations and consulting to physicians and operating room staff to demonstrate and optimize the use of Image Guided Surgery products. You will lead installations, educate staff across multiple roles, collaborate with the Account Manager to identify opportunities, resolve product issues, and drive revenue through service contracts, spare parts, and upgrades. The role requires travel around 50%+, a BS in a related engineering field, and hands-on experience with healthcare customers. This position is based in Newark, NJ, with in-person work requirements.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent
- 1-3 years minimum of experience in a technical support role for a healthcare company or provider preferred
- 1-2 years minimum customer service experience preferred
- Knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy and medical terminology preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
