Job Summary
Perform installation, calibration, and preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of complex medical and electronic hospital equipment. Interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints while using assorted power and hand tools to ensure all systems operate safely. Maintain a valid driver's license and adhere to safety codes throughout the nine-year experience requirement. This role supports the Madison County hospitals' commitment to advanced specialty care, including the Orthopedic & Spine Tower and Level III Regional Neonatal ICU.
Required Qualifications
- HS/GED
- Associates degree from an accredited college or university in Biomedical or Electronics Technology
- nine years experience on biomedical equipment in a hospital environment
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
- Ability to use assorted power and hand tools
- Knowledge of safety codes
- valid driver's license
- safe driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Related work experience may substitute for a technical degree
