Job Summary
Administer and serve as technical advisor for the implementation and integration of medical equipment and associated information systems including EMR, PACs, MUSE, and RTLS systems. Demonstrate knowledge of installation, maintenance, modification, and construction of highly complex networked and EMR integrated medical devices or systems. Work with ProHealth Care's IT department to ensure and maintain interoperability among medical equipment and connected information systems, collaborating with IT and Biomedical Engineering staff on integration processes. Apply advanced knowledge of networking and best practices for medical device integration to all new and upgraded systems. Requires a valid Wisconsin driver's license, 6+ years of experience, and knowledge of analysis and reporting tools. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in biomedical equipment technology OR military training in biomedical equipment technology, OR equivalent experience obtained through original manufacturer training
- At least 6 years of experience or a combination of Education and experience
- IT network and medical device integration experience
- Valid State of WI Driver's License and acceptable driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer certification in: Biomed Equip Tech Cert (CBET) or Radiology Equipment Specialist Cert (CRES)
