Biomechanics Lab Associate

Job Summary

Coordinate with stakeholders to schedule data collection and oversee the preparation, setup, calibration, and take-down of all biomechanics materials and technologies. Meticulously tag and upload biomechanical data feeds, then rigorously process motion capture data while ensuring all equipment remains fully operational. Regularly interface with vendors to troubleshoot software and maintain inventory of lab materials. Conduct reviews to summarize scientific literature, remain abreast of technological advancements, and adhere to ethical protocols when working with human subjects. Oversee lab Intern personnel and develop documentation outlining data collection and processing methods across all technologies. This contract position through October 31st, 2027, reports to the Senior Biomechanist within the Performance Science department.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in kinesiology, biomechanics, engineering (biomedical or mechanical) or a related field
  • Demonstrated ability and experience with biomechanical data collection and analysis
  • Expertise in optical motion capture hardware and software

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree
