Biology & Python Expert - Freelance AI Trainer needed to design and evaluate computational biology problems and Python-based solutions for project-based AI tasks. Responsibilities include designing original biology problems that simulate real workflows, creating Python-based solutions using NumPy/SciPy/BioPython, ensuring problems are computationally intensive, developing problems requiring non-trivial reasoning in bioinformatics, systems biology, and molecular modeling, verifying solutions with Python, documenting problem statements, and providing verified answers. The role is part-time, remote-to-Canada, and reimbursed on a project basis with compensation up to $35/hour equivalent. Projects typically require ~10–20 hours per week during active phases; compensation varies by project and expertise. Ideal candidates hold a biology-related degree, demonstrate Python proficiency (and familiarity with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, or related libraries), have 2+ years of applicable experience, knowledge of bioinformatics tools and computational methods, and strong written English.
