Biology Lab Supervisor

The Laboratory Supervisor will manage the operation, materials, and records of the biology laboratories, including drafting/updating lab safety protocols, ensuring state and federal regulatory compliance, and supervising graduate assistants and student workers. Responsibilities include maintaining inventories and supplies, coordinating hazardous/non-hazardous waste disposal, training laboratory personnel, coordinating with biosafety officers, ordering course-specific inventories, and ensuring proper setup and upkeep of teaching and research labs. Strong emphasis on biosafety, lab safety planning (SDS, safety plans), organizational and communication skills, and collaboration with faculty to support biology education and research.
