Job Summary
Assist staff in conducting field surveys for plants and wildlife, restoration activities, and education and outreach at the Las Vegas Wash and Warm Springs Natural Area. Willing to participate in wildlife surveys and other activities that include early morning and late-night hours. Able to organize and input survey data in spreadsheets and assist in developing reports.
Required Qualifications
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Biology/Environmental Science or a closely related field
- Minimum of 6 credit hours per semester (undergraduate) or 3 credit hours per semester (graduate)
- Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
- Available to work up to 25 hours weekly
- A valid Nevada driver’s license
- Legal right to work in the US, including authorization to work off-campus
