Job Summary

Conduct field delineations of Waters of the U.S. and habitat assessments for threatened and endangered species, dedicating approximately 90% of time to fieldwork, proposal development, and report preparation. Perform stream and wetland mitigation planning, mitigation site monitoring, and Section 404 permitting while preparing NEPA documentation and environmental site assessments. Ensure regulatory compliance for state and federal standards through detailed plant and wildlife identification, soils evaluation, and hydrology analysis. Assist with business development and proposal development for transportation, energy, and commercial projects. Requires a BS in an environmental science field with 4-8 years of experience, strong writing skills, and the ability to travel short-term for year-round work in adverse conditions.
