Job Summary
Biologics Sales Specialist in the San Diego area responsible for selling Bio-Techne’s bioprocessing instrument platforms (iCE, Maurice, MFI), related systems and consumables. Develop and execute strategic territory plans to increase sales and market share, engage customers in the field (approx. 75% in the field), perform product demonstrations and technical presentations to scientists and decision-makers, coordinate with cross-functional teams, maintain opportunity pipelines in Salesforce, and participate in trade shows and vendor events. Requires a scientific bachelor’s degree, 5+ years in life-science technical sales, and experience selling high-value capital equipment. Compensation includes base salary plus commission and stock-based incentives; benefits and company programs are described. Location preference is near San Diego, CA; field-based with potential for stock incentives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or related field
- 5+ years of experience in technical sales in life science tools market
- Experience selling high-value capital equipment
- Proficiency with Salesforce, MS Office, PowerPoint
- Ability to understand products and applications in biotechnology and biopharma sectors
