Job Summary
Biologics Account Manager responsible for delivering sales targets for Respiratory Biologics brands within UK accounts. You’ll build strategic relationships with MDTs, collaborate with R&I field teams to enhance access to biologics, and lead formulary adoption and blueteq access. You’ll develop and execute business plans, identify barriers to prescribing, and engage senior stakeholders to create value in a complex healthcare ecosystem. The role requires maintaining high clinical knowledge, delivering high-quality sales interactions, managing budgets within limits, and ensuring homecare utilization for brand support. Territory coverage includes Oxford, Southampton, and Portsmouth with in-person field activities.
Required Qualifications
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- ABPI qualification
- Full driving licence
- Significant recent Secondary care sales experience with a sound knowledge of account management
- Track record of engaging key stakeholders in complex clinical environments (mid and senior level healthcare professionals, key accounts and the medical community)
- Proven track record in influencing stakeholder decision-making in a complex DMU
- Proven demonstration of working in cross-functional teams
- Business management, commercial acumen and financially analytical & conversant
- Demonstrable ability to negotiate at business-to-business level
