Job Summary
Biological Technical Assistant (BTA) contributing to R&D by performing verification and validation experiments for biological assays and technologies. Independently conduct laboratory experiments, document and analyze results, and ensure high-quality standards in GLP-compliant settings. Apply techniques including ELISA, Western blotting, FPLC, IF (ICC, IHC), FISH, RNA/protein co-detection, NGS, CRISPR-based gene editing and screening, single-cell analysis, cytometry/FACS, and spatial biology. Requires a BSc degree or equivalent (or BTA training) and several years of hands-on lab experience, with fluency in German and English.
Required Qualifications
- BSc degree or equivalent in biology or related life-science field or completed training as Biological Technical Assistant (BTA) or equivalent qualification
- Several years of hands-on experience with biological and/or biochemical laboratory methods
- Fluency in German and English (working proficiency)
