Job Summary
Audit daily charges for infusional therapies, manage insurance precertification for infusional drugs, and counsel patients on treatment cost estimates. Enroll eligible patients in financial assistance programs and serve as a coding and reimbursement resource for providers and nurses. Perform pharmaceutical billing and physician coding in accordance with clinic policies. Requires minimum of 2 years in medical experience with coding exposure; drug screen and background checks required. Monday through Friday, 4–5 hours daily. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or HiSET
- Minimum of 2 years in medical experience with exposure to coding activities
- Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks
