Job Summary
Greet donors, perform venipuncture, and monitor the donation process while managing donor reactions. Program plasmapheresis machines, install and disconnect disposable sets, and troubleshoot equipment within training scope. Take vital signs, record donor measures, and enter data into the Donor Information System. Coordinate donors to the floor, compensate using the Debit Card system, and support continuous improvement initiatives through 5S and Value Stream Mapping. This part-time role requires 3+ days per week, 4 to 6 hours daily, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
- Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
- Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
- 1 or more years minimum experience working in a customer or patient facing role is helpful
