Job Summary
Bioinformatician collaborates on design, implementation, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of research and clinical genomics studies, using bioinformatics and computational biology tools to analyze genomics, proteomics, and metabolomics data (omics). Develops novel analytical tools with programming skills; optional knowledge of statistical methodology. Administrative duties include tracking time and maintaining project documentation for handoff to other bioinformatics staff. The ideal candidate will work under supervision and contribute to automated AI and bioinformatics pipelines, evaluate and support new software for informatics and imaging workflows, and provide technical customer service and consulting to investigators and stakeholders.
