Job Summary
Biohazard Remediation and Crime Scene Cleanup Technician provides emergency response cleaning for biohazards, trauma scenes, and related environmental remediation. Responsibilities include crime scene cleanup, decontamination, demolition, documenting and photographing sites, maintaining vehicles and equipment, and interacting with clients with discretion. Requires travel to assist projects across Texas and neighboring states; on-call emergency-response availability; use of PPE and strict safety protocols; lifting up to 50 pounds; and a background in restoration, construction, or related hands-on fields. Compensation ranges $20-$30 per hour with on-call compensation and performance-based bonuses; on-site training and industry certifications are provided. Flexible work-from-home options available.
Required Qualifications
- Availability for on-call emergency-response and travel on short notice for multiple days
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working in challenging environments and around unpleasant sights, odors, and contaminants
- Ability to follow detailed safety procedures and company protocols
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism
- Previous experience in restoration, demolition, construction, cleaning, remediation, EMS, firefighting, military service, or related fields is a plus
